Gul Ahmed Energy Limited is a 136.17 MW thermal power plant located in the Korangi Industrial Area of Karachi. The plant was set up on 20^th July 1994, being the brainchild of (Late) Mr. Iqbal Alimohamed – the founder and former Chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Group. Over 25 years of operations have successfully been completed.

The thermal power plant was setup on a Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis. The plant is currently being operated by Gul Ahmed Energy Group, with an Operations & Maintenance team under the supervision of technical professionals having experience of over 30 years in the energy sector.
